1 more awesome recording!!
Is it possible someone can make a Mod with a CNG backfire or something with Cummins?!
Which bus you drive? Is this the normal sound, you have downloaded, because my sounds I downloaded sounds not so good.

I drive the exact same bus in the title of the video.

i wonder why braking sound of SD83 ZF4HP500 'lost' again this problem is solved in RC5 though..
but wow the kickdown function is now soooooooooo sensitive, a lot of fun
Did not know it was fixed! In fact all I changed was the consist file and done some very minor edits to the script file. On my verison of omsi, the brake sounds plays, however, the louder braking screech does not play until the bus reaches 2kph!! It sounds like a bell or something!! Not too sure what the cause of that is! I am taking a look at the brake script right now to see how that is all setup.
Forget getting rid of that sound - its great, I remember LRT Olympians with ZF 4HP500 gearboxes sometimes made that sound after sharp braking, so I think your script is so good that somehow the sound came by itself! I must, however, reiterate how important it is to use the correct engine sounds; I gave the link to my D2866 sounds above, and will try to make D0834? (or whatever it is ) sounds tomorrow, because the D2566 does not sound like the newer engines, and while this may not bother some people, it bothers me to have a wonderful ZF gearbox, which is an amazing mod btw, and a new euro III/IV engine which sounds so loud and just like a 1980s euro-nothing engine! And to those that say my sounds are too low, modern buses are quieter than 80s buses!!! Besides its only quiet in the cab, in the passenger area you can hear the rumble of the engine.
Well rant over, hopefully krtz07 you will appreciate my suggestion and take my advice , especially since I am talking about adding to your mod, rather than pointing out a fault, as there are none. Thanks for making my dreams coke TRUE with the ZF gearboxes

I have tried to set the D92 with ZF 6HP592 D2066 to be the AI busses. But somehow the busdrivers can't drive that bus.. I often see, that the busses are stopped in the middle of the road, and they can't drive until i go to the bus.. Do you maybe have a solution?
Will have a look later when I'm not in bed I have never had any problems with AI, except if I try to make AI take over a bus that has the handbrake on or something, bus as for AI set in the AIlist file, it has always worked for me.

Hi i'm new to OMSI
Can't believe there a sim that sound like the real thing These ZF sounds are great and enjoying driving with them just wondering if the musical ZF gearbox is a hard process to do
These 1982-84 MAN SL200 ran in our city until 3/4 weeks ago I would love to here this ZF sound in omsi (loud)

When i choose the first D92 bus. I have got a foult. And can close omsi only with forse close. What is the problem? Or am i de only one with that problem.
Ps are there any updates?? Or "things to do"

All the D92s should be loading up.
You guys are going to hate me after the release of this next upcoming patch, I give the bus a more realistic powertain loss of 15%.
Ecomat I 15% Loss in power Ecomat II 13% loss in power Ecolife 13% loss in power
Not too sure if these values are prototype or not but the standard is 15% loss. I figured the newer the generation of the transmission is, the less powertain loss.
I found out after I put in more realistic values, the bus accelerated way more realistic. Not too sure why the developers only specified a 5% loss.

Why are we hating you. There are no reason for that. So i think you are doing great work. I can't wait for the next update. And we will see or we hate you.
-Added power loss of 12% to the ZF ecolife for the time being. This decreased slippage by up to 90%, the bus under certain situations will still slip, the only fix is to let go off of the throttle and wait for the bus go back into gear. slippage usually occurs when the bus is driven rough. As result of the power loss - Acceleration dropped accordingly as well, yet it is realistic.
-topodyn now works on both the upshift and downshift. Topodyn measures the current load of the bus and the acceleration. Both will get weighted equally. If the bus were to go up a steep hill, then the bus will downshift depending on the current gearing and gradient. The highest downshift rpm is 1800 and that would be used on extremely steep hills. Before someone replies and saying this is too high, perhaps, but the max rpm will get tuned down the road.
-Added a new bus with the AP1400 with the D2866, this combo is not fined turned yet, but it demonstrate how much the topodyn will change changed between that bus and the other one with the D0834. On the D2866, the gears will change at extremely low rpm if there is no load on board the bus. As load increase/passenger count, then the shift points will get raised slightly and gradually - All this is done without kickdown switch enabled which BTW is still enabled on these buses.
to do list -Clean up both the script and consist file - make the code more efficient and get rid of unused code and consist values. -Fine tune the shifting points on the zf ecolife both upshift and downshift -re implement topodyn onto the zf ecomat II -Soften the downshift on the Ecomat II - decrease coupling torque from 500 down to 200, that will make for a less torquey downshift. -Need gear whine sounds for the Ecomat I. Something that is consistent and to the point - no engine sounds overclouding it. -Implement more shift sounds for both the Ecomat I and II
