This script adds four buses into OMSI, (3 into SD202 directory, 1 into the SD200 directory)
SD200 directory Allison 2 speed
SD202 directory
SD86 - Allison 3 Speed transmission (V-730) SD87 - 6v92TA different variant then the one that was used in the ZF mod, HT747 transmission SD89 - Man d2566 Allison World B300R transmission
This is the very first version of the Allison transmission mod. I may ask that as usual please do not make any modifications based off of this mod yet. The mod is still in the beginning stages. I decided to start this transmission off at version 1.00. The Allison is way less complicated compared to the ZF which could unlock/relock etc in each gear. Whereas with the Allison, the shifting pattern is simple.
To do list : - Adjust/customized the sounds eg. Air start for the 6v92 - Adjust gearbox settings where avail
oh this is simply gold. Downloaded it....shall install and report back here!

This mod is truely awesome! Finally, some American transmissions for OMSI! The HT747 was spot on! The VH9 reminds me of the ole Fishbowls, its right on point. The VR731 reminds me of a Series 50 powered RTS. The B400R5 is simply awesome! I really love the VH9 because its slower than hell, which is perfect for a nice challenge on some schedules.
Do you think you could script that 6V92 sound you used for the HT747 and make it work for the VH9, B400 and VR731 transmissions? That would be awesome!

Liking this mod!! Also like how its the first script to have the non voith dipping revs in idle! Spot on.

Quick question, any chance of seeing this eventually done on the Mercedes O405 or... should I likely be able to just copy it right over as is to work?

Dipping revs at idle?
Both Voith and ZF transmissions will idle at a lower engine speed when 'in-gear' as opposed to in neutral.

Made changes to the whine sound on the HT747, also if you double tap the throttle in first gear, it would hold that gear for an few seconds longer.
Edit, wrong link was posted up!

I think he means the way it shifts up/shifts to neutral while you are driving when you release the accelerator.

It's auto neutral on stop/door/handbrake whatever. Voiths do it when you're stationary but holding the brake pedal I think, however modern Allisons I believe will do it when the handbrake is applied.

Great work krtz07, love this mod!!! I especially like the D87, as this is what some of our Dennis Darts (small single deck bus like the Thomas Dennis SLF) and Dennis Eagles (mid-large size bin lorry [garbage truck]) sound like, which have this transmission!!! Although they have Cummins instead of Detroit Diesel engines.

Loving the B300R particularly, the only problem with it I've noticed is that it sometimes slips when accelerating after changing down or kicking down which is really annoying, and it won't kick in properly again until you let off the throttle completely then apply gentle throttle for a few seconds to let it slip back into gear. Other than that little annoying niggle it's great.
Edit: The other thing I forgot about is the speed limiter doesn't work much like a number of your other mods such as some of the ZFs

Noticed that some of the buses "stall" (i put " " meaning not exactly) but the engine turns off, meant to be like this?
BTW : I love this mod ALOT! xD (prefer some buses to others though xD)
P.S only noticed when going into reverse

Plus some slightly older Enviro 300s and Enviro 200s (most commonly the MCV bodied ones, the ones with 6 cylinder engines tend to have them instead of the Allison 2100). They now offer T280R instead of B300R though.

-Reverse now gets an mechanical gear ratio with the torque converter being unlocked on the Allison HT747 and the B300R. -If you double tap the throttle on the Allison World transmission, the transmission will hold that gear for one more second. Also the transmission will not shift up if the throttle is less then 10%. This may resolve some of the slippage issues. -change final drive ratio on the B300R to 4.79, Also up the first gear shift point as well as the shift point which the bus would lock up.

Awesome work dude! I love double tapping the gas and holding the gear jus a lil longer.
Is it possible you could replicate the famous Allison AT540 and AT545 with that musical 2nd gear whine?

On the B300R it now often sticks/slips in first gear and doesn't want to change up or kick back into gear, and it shoots off in reverse too fast lol. I think maybe you changed the ratios a little too much, it was almost right in 1.01.

The Allison at least the ones around here normally does stick in the first gear or any other gear if the throttle has been double tap. I could lower the sensitivity on it though. The ZF is somewhat like that as well but not as notable. The driver would have to be extremely aggressive in order for the ZF to hold the gear. With the Allison, however, it occurs more frequently to not be ignored. As far as reverse, I used the ratio shown off of the specification sheets. Now what I did not do yet and is going to be implemented is put an torque restriction on it so the acceleration would not be as harsh.

I know they often do that (although they shouldn't do it as much), but it's just going completely limp with me as if it's slipping into neutral and it won't kick back in again unless I slow right down and stop. It's not "holding the gear", it's as if it's slipping out of it. The only way I can get it to shift properly in first is if I barely press the throttle at all, anything more than about a quarter throttle and it just screws up and I have to mess about with the throttle until it'll kick in again. In fact, it's acting exactly like 1.01 sometimes did after changing down a gear and it would slip into neutral.

Thats odd, the Allisons are not suppose to slip into neutral at all. Are you driving with an mouse or keyboard BTW, or an steering wheel?

Steering wheel
It will kick back in eventually, but if I put my foot flat to the floor from a standstill it'll just stay on the rev limiter for a good 10 seconds or so, similar results if I let off a little bit. If I then apply throttle again it quickly becomes apparent that it's actually slipping and it's not giving me any drive until I slow right down and then it usually kicks in.
