Just about to download this route and i'm going to play it with the Stagecoach livery D92 bus repaint that Beefy made David you are a legend, I have been playing your Spandau modern route for about a week, it's better than the original Spandau route which was great in it's own right. Can;t wait to play this, thank you for taking the time to create these routes for us.

Hi,
Yes, I found those too yesterday. Fixing them tonight and all will be well in V2.

Yes, Flippy (or it might have been Tom) discovered this one. Current reason unknown (perhaps they're just bus spotters! ), but probably that the stop has been wrongly linked to the 30 instead of the 31. Will be fixed for V2.
Cheers,
David.

Trust me in reality most car drivers up here are a right bunch of numptys, if I wasn't really good at anticipation and of course driving I could of easily of wrote the car of three times today. Woman going straight across a roundabout cutting in front of me, and another driver doing an emergency brake at set of lights which were on go.
I only fully trust the bus drivers up here. Truck and minicabs as well but not all.

Patch 1.3 for "Stagecoach Newcastle V1"
This patch corrects the error detailed in Flippy1008's post, a few above this one, where on Tours 5-8 (only) some journey legs ended at Fawdon (line 30) but then required departure from Montagu Estate (line 31), in error.
(This error only affected Tours 5-8 ).
This patch installs a new timetable file, which corrects this; all journey legs which end at Fawdon (30) will now be followed by a leg that departs from Fawdon (30) ........ and the same for Montagu Estate, with the 31.
This is recommended for ALL Stagecoach Newcastle V1 users.... but as always if you don't wish to install the patch, the fix will also be included in V2 in a few weeks.

While i am developing rota cards for Newcastle, it follows UK driving regulations.
so
5.5 hrs first leg 1 hr minimum break 4.5 hrs second leg.
please note if you do a shorter first leg, whenever you take your break you must take 45 minutes as your first break.
no more than 10 hours of driving per day.
the 10 minute turnaround spaces DO NOT count as break time, but driving time.
if you go over 5.5 hrs, or 4.5 on your last leg, you must stop the bus where you are otherwise you will be breaking the law!

Great map as usual! Not sure if this has been asked before, but is there a way to adjust the A.I. so that the only buses you see on these routes are the stagecoach liveries?

JUST so you know guys, I'm updating my stagecoach skins so that they are of the right colour ( realistic shades ) and there will be a skin for EVERY bus from SD79 up to SD202.
I'll let you all know in due course when they are completed ( without the yellow surrounds by the desty boxes )

This is now my new favorite route, it reminds me of the local routes we have in new york where you're making stops at every street corner pretty much. Excellent work!

Hi,
It is possible, it requires a few changes to the "AIList.cfg" in the map folder. But I've not tested or tried it myself. The map would indeed be brilliant with just Stagecoach buses on it .. but I never went down that route because I don't want the addon to be dependent on users having lots of other addons present, for it to work (like the repaints). So it will work with no other addons present, but it is far better with the Stagecoach liveries installed. And will be better again with only stagecoach liveries present.
Perhaps someone else can post with the requred entries for the AI List.
David.

Hi,
If you go to the "Mods / Tools" section of this forum, you'll see a thread called "English Male Voice Pack 1"...... the download link is there.

It is possible. But first, instead of keyword [aigroup], there must be [aigroup_depot] with reg numbers for buses. In this case only D92 becasue it's the only bus used by AI (on this map).

David.
Good morning, David. A few things would need to be changed in order to insert a stagecoach livery. The original ailist.cfg has the following entry:
[aigroup] NewBusses 1 11 Newcastle
So first we need to find some Stagecoach livery fo D92 But suppose we found them, then we would need to change the previous entry to:
[aigroup_depot] NewBusses Newcastle
and add the following entry below this one I mentioned:
Where XXXX is the registration number of the bus. The available registration numbers for each bus are located in \MAN_SD202\Regs_D92.org That Stagecoach tag must be in agreement with the name of the repaint you have downloaded (more precisely, the cti file).
Hope it works.

Hi all,
Thanks for following the continuing development of this map, which I hold a great deal of passion about, given that it covers a lot of the areas I grew up aroud, and learned what life is about ... (mostly legal things ).
I have tons going on in life at the moment (apart from OMSI development) and feel I need a couple of days break from the forum to get to where I need to be.
So I won't be responding to questions, requests and feedback for a couple of days but look forward to getting up to speed very soon.
David.

David I have an idea for you referring to updates, instead of doing V1 V2 etc, carry on like you are doing now, 1.1 1.2 1.3 etc, this way people know that theres a small minor update or a big update (like V2 will be )
Just a though david

Does anyone know how to get the bus to say out of service on this route?
David just an idea on city centre terminus (newgate st) I think it would be good to add a layvover bay because when you are waiting to depart, you just hold up traffic.
thanks, tom

Firstly you can, for it to say 'Sorry Not In Service' you change it in the destination box manually in the drop down box.
Secondly, no as there is no layover in real life however it is a 'No Car' lane in both directions like a lot of streets in Newcastle. Also if you are going to layover its best to layover in Grainger St. as this is where services layover in real life e.g. 36/71/71/87/88 all stay in Grainger St. instead of Newgate.
