This addons gives a realistic depiction of the following routes, operated by Stagecoach in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England:-

36 City Centre (Newgate St) - Fenham
30 Fenham - Benwell - Fawdon
31 Fenham - Benwell - Montagu Estate
X82 City Centre (Eldon Sq) - Throckley (Express, limited stop)

Line 36 interconnects with lines 30 and 31, so you operate a 36, then (according to the tour you're running) you change to a 30 or 31, upon reaching Fenham (Netherby Drive South).

The X82 is a more traditional "point to point" service (although it operates a loop through Throckley), operating from Newcastle City Centre (Eldon Square) to Throckley in the far west limitis of the city. As an express service only 9 stops are served.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR THE NEW X82 ROUTE, PLEASE READ:-

1). It is easy to select the wrong 'depot file' with the map (it does not default to the 'Newcastle' depot, so take care selecting the NEWCASTLE depot file.

2). Take care manouvreing in Eldon Square (when departing), the turns are tight, especially for large buses!

3). This is an EXPRESS... only the bus stops you need to stop at are in the IBIS, so use your IBIS to make sure you ONLY stop at the required stops. (Only the stops you need to stop at have 'helper markers').

4). Just because this is an express service does not mean you should SPEED everywhere! Almost all of the route is driven at 30mph. Observe sensible speed limits and drive smoothly, otherwise you'll easily run early, on an express service like this.

5). The X82 is a completely seperate route that just happens to be on the same map as the 30, 31, 36 lines. However you will cross each other in the City Centre (albeit to different termini), and at "The Denton Hotel" on West Rd.

6). I used a tree texture from the OMSI object library, a LOT in this map that then proved to look a little blurry (just above the top of the tree) on my PC. If others are seeing these trees in this way too, I may update the trees (change to a different tree) in the next version).

7). Check the included PDF for the IBIS codes! (The IBIS Linie code for 'X82' is '08236').

This has been fixed and if you redownload the X82 extension you will notice the change

nice part 2 but for me the ibis doesnt work
I type 08236 for Line X82 and route 01 but it says "Wrong route"

Did you load the correct Depot file, Newcastle?

AI buses don't neccesserily have this

And by default on D's not SD's have the .HOF file in!

you loaded the wrong depot file dude....... read point number (1) he says on the download page; "it is easy to load the wrong depot file, so make sure you choose 'newcastle' depot"

Actually i just looked ...... and he has put the HOF files into all of the buses - the SD200, 202 and the installer even puts it in the FBW549 folder

...and all the ai does have the correct HOF. ... people just need to make sure they select the Newcastle depot when settin up a new bus

The Sd200 file is incorrect as I discovered this morning. It does not have X82 extension built into it!

The Sd202 (which is the default bus), does!

But one question. Are there on lines running in the night? Atleast around 1-3 am? (thats the times ive tried)

For those that weren't aware, V3 of this brilliant map is out now. It features a brand new route (38), with tons of new scenery.

There are no night buses because there are none in real life in this city.

The UK has hardly any buses that run that late into the night/next morning, nobody uses them

Our transport infrastructure is nowhere near as good as many places in continental Europe.

London has 24 hour routes?

Yeah, that's why I said "hardly any" lol. London being the main exception.
