KI Not In Service/Betriebsfahrt function?

I'm wondering if in the following updates or via 3rd party mods, will there be a function to make the bus go out of service to go to the depot with something like a bus stop function. Also useful if you want something like dynamic routing where a bus changes routes at the terminus, and the route is not at the same terminus.

There is already a function like this. You can interrupt or abort every tour you have selected every time out of the menue that is faded in by pressing the "Alt" key and choose that you turn over your bus to the AI or select the abort of the timetable your are using at the moment.

Usually the destination code (Ziel) on the IBIS device is "13" for "Betriebsfahrt".

In my "Dortmund-Map" for example every shift begins with a tour from the depot and ends up with one too. The idea of dynamic routing is worth a thought. Maybe in the next update.

the Bus AI don't go out of service to my understanding, and if its the last trip, they stay at the final terminus and then dissapear some time later

They change to "Betriebsfahrt" and leave the terminus driving. I saw this just a few minutes ago. I just don't know if they will go to the depot or disappear at the end of a spline into data nirvana.

If you choose the "Turn over to AI" option while driving a line, it is more or less LUCK if the AI continues the route. This is a known bug.

If it is the first or last trip, than it differs from Map to Map. Sometimes the Ai Busses go out of service, showing "Betriebsfahrt" on the display and drive back to the depot an dissappear in the garage.
Sometimes they drive off an dissappear.

A.I. buses also depart from the depot with "Betriebsfahrt" showing on the destination display and will wait at the bus stop if they are too early. You can see this when you drive the last trip of the 13N departing from Stadtgrenze, the daytime lines will begin their first trip and you can see one A.I. bus waiting at the bus stop when you make the left turn after driving down Reimerweg.

Very realistic if you ask me.
