Thema: Fantasy route: Britzwald-Ebensraum Di 29 März - 22:33
Well, Finally its up for release! Credits also goes to: Se7en For making the IBIS, Rollband, BUS Destination Signs, Test Driving and a few other thing! Thanks!! =) NemolusFor making of the wonderful Streetsigns
The route takes you From Britzwald Station up to Ebensraum which is a small villige/city up a hill.. You will drive the bus "126" to and from Britzwald. And at the moment theres only that route to drive!
The route itself takes 30-35 minutes to drive!
Have in mind that this is the first map I'll release. So don't excpect everythin to be perfect. But let me know some problems and I will correct them!! Regards!
Put all the folders in your OMSI folder! Check the INFORMATION.jpg for IBIS

I just realized that driving in the evening with heavy snow (pre selected heavy snow) were the greatest one to use on this map.. Try that out! BUT keep up in the hills 'cause its slippery

Glad you like it! =) One thing that does bother me is that the AI buses dont seem to know what they're doing!! Well see what I can do about that!

Very nice map, the first one who can compete with another good one: Sachsen-Anhalt linie...
Like the curves and hills and narrower roads. Perhaps try to fill in some empty spaces with more trees or stuff.
Usage of new roadsigns is very nice as well !
9/10 for this map

good map.. however the timetable is a bit out. two stops at 10:24:00 and the timetable says 10:15 yet the in cab says 10.19?? for the starting of britzwald. then at the last stop, people do not get off. also some of the stops are in the IBIS because they arent in the timetable?
other than that great route...
i had just left britzwald, to britzwald centrum, it takes 1 minute not 5..

Well the 2 Times' at 10.24 is because its like 20 meters away from each other, it shouldn't take à minute there between. About starting 10.19 when it says 10.15, is not a problem accually, cause if you look at the "first stop" you ser the correct time, when you select timetable. Well, i Will correct it as soon some more problems show up.

Ok, here's my review....
Firstly, Thank you! This route is outstanding and has the potential to be one of, if not the best route available. It is full of hills, curves, turns, surprises.. Loving it!
Now.. here's the bad bit....
Here is what's holding it back:
Starting times incorrect as mentioned above
Huge lack of traffic organisation.. e.g. traffic lights. You have so much traffic (which I like, so don't change this) that it is impossible to pull out or turn into any road without either waiting more than half an hour, or turn collisions off and just drive through everyone, which is what I had to do in the end and I was still 30 minutes late!!
Your roads and turnings are extremely narrow and so on most turns the bus needs a wide sweep. But becuase you don't have any breaks in traffic both ways you will sit there for 3 days before getting a chance to pull out. Traffic lights would help here! But because of the narrow roads you will need to ensure that the opposing traffic is far enough back from the junctions to allow the bus to get round.
You have a MAJOR x roads at one point with no traffic controls at all.... This would just not happen and is not realistic. This junction needs a traffic light system without any doubt whatsoever.
You could do with a warning for the last turn at the Ebensraum terminus.. I went flying past as I was so late.
The timetable didn't change at the terminus for the return route.
The IBIS is missing chunks of stops out.
Please take my criticisms as constructive because I love this route to bits, but without all the above sorted it is going to be an impossible route to drive, especially with collisions on.
Thank you

Impressive, I love that map. Just finished my mandatory Driving School course as an empty run to learn the route.
It is narrow, but I don't think it is too narrow. I grew up in a mountainous area with old villages and towns and already as a child I was impressed where a bus could get through...
I have just two comments to make: 1. The missing of priority rules causes problems. First of all "priority to the right" if you get out of a village on the bypass road are unrealistic. And I had once a deadlock from this. The trouble is that this rule can result in situations where every car has to give priority to some other car in the intersection. AI drivers will not communicate with each other so no one can give up his priority and no one will move. You should probably place signs and trafic lights. 2. In some village roads the "Minimum speed 30 km/h" sign was set, i.e. a white 30 on blue circle. Also the bus in the red triangle at Britzwald station means "Caution, buses". I think you wanted to place "buses only", this would in fact be a white bus on a blue circle.
However, I think I will drive this route quite often.
