[UPDATED 6th April]: Ystad - Malmo (Sverige) Map - Version 5

VERSION 3.0 RELEASED!

Version 3.0 has been released at 21:09z on Mon 21st March 2011.

Changes:-

- The Line 100 timetable still wasn't right as services were arriving at Sandakra still too early, and then later parts of the timetable were too tight. Brand new VERSION 3.0 timetable with much better spacing between stops.

- Line 200 has been withdrawn for now as it was not adding enough to the simulation. Line 100 now takes 23 minutes one way which is a decent mid-length route.

- Info markers added for all bus stops on the route now.

I've test driven this new timetable and you'll tend to find that it'll be a bit tight between Ystad and Skurup but you should only be a couple a minutes behind if at all. Then you can make this time up on the run out to Borringe. On 3 different test runs I rolled into Malmo right on the minute! So that's close enough for me!

Another problem, and also line 200 is still on my version, even after V3 install?

It may be necessary to remove the old files before running the V3 installer. I'm not seeing any Line 200 stuff here (except the info signs which do still show the 200 route).

With regards to to the invisible objects, I can only think that the one you're seeing is caused by a bad road join ...however I've tried unsuccessfully to fix it.

I can only suggest therefore that this map is used with crash detection for vehicles and objects switched off.

There won't be any further versions of this map - it's just to be taken as what it is - a best second attempt at a map but in reality probably not as good as my first map attempt, Dannenburg.

I just took the folder out of the Maps, installed V3 and it's perfect!

Hi Jay,

The best way to uninstall is simply to browse to the C:\Program Files\m-r-software\Omsi\maps and delete the Ystad-Malmo folder.

That's all that's necessary if you're then installing a later version (V3), using the Exe.

If you want to completely uninstall, remove the Ystad-Malmo map folder as above, then browse to the Omsi\Vehicles folder and remove the Ystad.hof file from both the SD202 and SD200 folders.

i have a problem, when i want to add the destination on the display over the windshield, i can write the line number but not the destination name...if i write malmo it won't show up on the display...please help

Not sure what you mean by "write the destination"......

The displays are shown automatically by entering 'Linie' code 10000, and 'Route' 01 (for Malmo) or 02 (for Ystad), into the IBIS machine.

Or you can select 'Malmo' or 'Ystad' from the drop-down list in the menu..... but there's nowhere where you 'write' your destination as so to speak.

If you can't see either of those destinations in the drop down destination list, it means you've selected the wrong depot when setting up the game. (You need to ensure 'Ystad' depot is selected.

Actually you can "write" in that combo box, but if there isn't a match in the list, it won't appear on the bus display.

Well "Malmo" and "Ystad" (as well as "Skurup") are all in the list as they're part of the standard HOF file that allow the route to work.

I suspect he didn't have the Ystad depot selected.

But somewhere between bus stops in Ystad there's a library and when you drive near it, you hit an invisible object on the road ;x
It's because of this bulding.
You should fix it. For exapme, move it away a bit.
That will help !

If you're still seeing this problem, your version may have become mixed up.

Try this

- Browse to C:\Program Files\M-r-software\Omsi\Maps

- Delete the folder Ystad-Malmo

- Run the V3 exe installer.

This I need

Reinstalled V3 by deleting and re-installing using the EXE david, still an invisible object on the way to ystad vast from the stop before going to malmo (ystad brink gata I believe)

Invisible objekt too - fresh install (no previous version installed before)

In reality this should be a 60km-route with motorway-sections - but it isn't

Yeah, that was acid, also making a clean install and also rammed into invisible object, nice.

Version 4 installer:-

This version has the final 2 library objects removed, so this SHOULD remove the invisible collisions! (Plllleeeeeaaase!).



You will need to delete the Ystad-Malmo folder manually from your Omsi/maps folder, before running the V4 exe, to ensure your map updates.

[EDIT: Just tested it with collisions switched on, and no collision, so hopefully all sorted now]
