1. Do AI cars follow a series of predetermined routes, or do they follow a random route? 2. Is it possible to ascribe different traffic volumes to different roads, e.g. quieter or busier roads? 3. Can AI trucks be restricted from certain roads, say, residential roads? 4. Do all AI cars travel at the same speed, or can some travel slower than others? 5. On a two or three lane highway, can cars in the faster lane travel faster? 6. Is it possible for our simulator bus to be held at a traffic light for two or three sequences, due to a long traffic queue in front?
Many thanks...

I'm not a dev but for number 5, I believe there won't be a highway to drive on in a city bus sim

Yes, but there are roads with more than 1 lane.

This is not a defined city bus simulator. You can build an intercity map with highways, but the cities between must not be very detailed.

I know, but I think the default bus route is less highway oriented, but you can make a bus route go on the highway such as coaches, and either its coded into the game, or you have to coee it yourself

Ah, I see what you mean..
The default BVG 92 route is not highway oriented, it's more of the city streets, but it has small highway on Klosterstrasse (see min 7:02 on video 4). And of course, you can make a long distance coach and a long map, but you mustn't make the cities too detailed ; I talked with Marcel about this, he didn't tell me the consequences if you do.

From all what I've read in this forum all of your questions should be answered with a (sometimes very thoughtful) yes. As far as I understand it, you can send AI-traffic everywhere with whatever speed you think is suitable (in case you are able to do the scripting...). There is the possibility to define the amount of traffic for certain routes (I have read it somewhere but can't find it), but I am not entirely sure if you can define a higher speed for example for the left lane compared to the right one. I know (or am sure to remember from other threads...) that you can set speed limits. As far as I understand that traffic light thing: the cars react on the colour, therefore they stop in front of the traffic lights. As a consequence they also stop 2, 3 or even 8 times. Marcel and Rüdiger, please confirm or correct me if you have time sooner or later. The more I think of it the more insecure I get...

Thema: AI Buses So 6 Feb - 14:10
Hi, I would like to say how amazing this game looks , cant wait for the release!
After looking around at the new Screenshots i noticed that there appears to be only 1 type of bus on each screenshot. Is this just coincedence or will all types of buses be in the game at one time?
The other question i had may be quite obvious, but i thought i would ask it anyway I understand that there are AI buses operating routes, but will there be any operating alongside you on line 92?

You will meet buses of lines 5, 31, 63 and 94 along the route (and all the others in the Rathaus Spandau area as well). There's a Google Earth plugin on our screenshots page showing all Spandau bus lines so you can see where to meet them.

Excellent, I'll probably spend more time watching the AI Buses doing their job instead of doing mine.

I understand that AI buses will also be operating alongside you on the 92, but at what frequency will the 92 be operating?

Will be available in bus some paper (or something else), where will be write my schedule. And before begin of game: Will I set only day of week and season or could I set conrete date (in this case will be traffic on 92 different for example in Christmas, 1st January or in Holidays ...).

I assume - the real "Der Omnibus Fahrplan von Berlin-Spandau - 1989"? (I made up the title )
