WIP Left Hand Route (Update 10/11)

These are some screens from a left hand drive map that I've been working on. It uses only the splines available with LHD Grundorf, so it's quite simple but I've tried to make it more interesting and to capture the look and feel of a British town.

Update 10/11: Map drawing is finished, is approx 10min route in total but I will look to increase this in a later release

This is the city terminus of the bus route


Also, as requested by one of the users in this thread I have added speed humps


Name for the map is undecided as of yet, the route will be about 3-4km from the residential estate to a railway station.

just one thing, any chance of speed-bumps? doesnt ever seem to be speed-bumps on maps. nice work on the other traffic calming measures.

i would consider adding speed humps, yes. Map is currently only half-drawn in terms of roads. Here's the mid-way retail park entrance with gyratory system.

Still got about 1 more km of road to draw +scenery. I should have a beta version (without AI buses/timetables etc.) ready within a week or so

Alright Cool, it is easier to just draft in a few testers rather than having it openly availible as a Free BETA download as without the map being properly tested it can cause problems for people

I have run into a minor issue with my PC which will need to be fixed before I can make any more progress. The roads are currently almost entirely laid. It will be another 1-2weeks before I can send beta copies out for bug testing. Appreciating your patience

all I have left to do now is finish the scenery and tweak a few traffic rules and I will have beta versions ready (these will not contain ai buses and timetables, just for you to explore the route and find errors I may have missed) If you're interested in testing let me know

That's a good question actually, I had to take a look through my file library. It's in a folder called buildings (so not much help), but I think it's made by a british model-maker. I would have downloaded it with a map such as scunthorpe or another UK-based map, so I'd check those threads for info. If I can find the thread I'll post it here

EDIT: As I still can't find the source of these buildings I will include them in the release and will of course provide credits where I know the author
