I must say i was suprised to see an update on the website today, and even more suprised to see a release date!!! The game looks superb!!
Quick question though, can we have a rough idea of the minimum PC specs required to run OMSI?
Thanks!!!

OMSI isn't finished yet so they can't say anything about that yet.

Yes, but they might still be able to give a ROUGH idea as to how powerfull a PC has to be to run the game, based on the PCs the creators use themselves.

They said that you absolutely don't need the newest high end PC. Depending on your graphic settings, they said that older PCs (I guess 2-3 years old) will work fine as well, without having to turn all the graphics to low.

Yes, but I'd like THEM to answer, as it is THEY who will be able to give me the info I'm looking for.......

They'll tell you just the same like me, because someone asked the same thing in the German section.

Sorry, but we have not the desire to explain things which you can also find in the FAQs - and because janniboy already answered your question, I don't see any reason to do it if his answer is correct.

Calm down The answer I gave you was quite exactly the same like Marcel's or Rüdiger's answer in the German section. I know that you're not German, and I don't expect you to translate the whole section using Google etc., that's why I just gave you the answer.
Marcel and Rüdiger read in the German section AND in the English section. If my answer hadn't been correct, they would have corrected me! (see Marcel's post).

From FAQ: Please read
Zitat :
What system specifications does OMSI need?
That is after all an question of the displayed scenery density. Out in the country the performance will be better of course than in a crowded downtown area. An up-to-date system can’t be wrong, but OMSI should also run satisfactorily on older systems. With OMSI still being in development, we can’t give accurate specifications yet.
This is your answer

Another question,
Will OMSI be able to support game pads(including the Xbox360 controller)? And if it does, can the keyboard + gamepad be used at the same time. For example, using the gamepad to drive the bus and the keyboard for controlling other functions like doors, wipers, lights etc etc?
Thanks!!!

OMSI supports every wheel/game pad/joystick which appears in the Windows game controller dialog. About your second question, I'm quite sure about that, no wheel has enough buttons ;-)
