Windows 7 issue

Hello.

I used to play with omsi on xp : no problem.

I just moved to Windows 7 (ultimate 32), installed omsi (and the update).

When i tried to open the game i had the issue with the "d3dq28.dll" . I downloaded this dll but it still doesn't work.
I check my directx version. i have the directx 11 installed on my computer...

Any idea how i can solve my problem?

You may need to install the DirectX 9 files. You can get it here.

I don't know about it being incompatible with DirectX 11. However, I do believe that Marcel and Rüdiger made OMSI with DirectX 9.0c in mind. Had they created it with DirectX 10 or 11, all Windows XP users (including me) would be left out and would be forced to buy either Windows Vista or Windows 7 in order to run this sim.

This works fine with Windows 7.. no problems.

Now i have this error message : "Integeruberlauf" ...

I think i will re-install OMSi and see what happens :-(

All applications based on dx9 are compatible with dx11 but not in other way

I recommend to use Windows 7 64-bit.
I've been playing with 32-bit and now with 64-bit and it's much, much, much better

So i re-instaled the game and i still have that window saying that it can't start the game because "d3d9_28.dll" is missing :-( :-( :-(
Please, Rudiger or Marcel ... help me ! :-(
