Scania OmniLink UPDATE 04/04/11

Whilst ive bin Learning how to import ( not goin good so far )

Ive been making Progress with the artic version of my scania Im hoping to post screens somtime this next week as ive had to slice the model in half and rebuild most of it

I'm also hoping for some news of when Omsi will support Artic's

Yes ino im still learning max tho but its aroung 54,000 wich is better than the rendering model of 166,00 right LOL

Update as you can see ive started work on the artic version heres how its going i cut the back end off the single decker version and rebuilt it from there :-) still have to do there interior on the the new end like the bars, the chairs are done a new low poly version, altho u cannot see them its because i hid them so i could see the chassis more ( Ino its not 100 percent yet soo bare with me )

Now im am in ther process of removing the middle door, the scania that i designed the bus on only has 2 doors one at the front and the back, also have to add the boring stuff such as the bars...


so artic version 89% complete.

This looks absolutely fabulous, lol I cannot even get a MAN properly around the corner so I can see a lot of crashes for me in the future with this one!

hehe I love artic buses specially this one :-) going to be finishing the bars tonight and tickmachine ( with LCD electronic display ) if possible,

I might have 2 version one with 3 doors one with 2, then everybodys happy

In my city all the busses have 2 doors! So I'm happy with the 2 door version

would like to see even more pictures of this Scania, especially from nearby. And a wireframe from the rear, because i have so suspect that is the model by Gocek. I would like to see more pictures of the rims because the rims look like the same by Design-X.

By whoom? i made this model myself? i have the blueprints for you to see if you like?? il post some 'closer' screens asoon as i get in.


Oh i forgot to mention the wheels are what Johnny sent me with permission to use for the bus,

@rzr09: this looks superb, thank you for taking on such a cool project! Do you by any chance have any images of the dashboard, I'm really interested in how it wil look?

Nice piece of work! Reminds me of the fact I also have to make a articulated version of my bus, I hope it will not be too hard. Now let`s hope OMSI will support articulated versions in the future...

Exactly that's why I had already asked once. There it was one other project.

Off-topic: Gocek is a Polish 3d modeller who has published many great Scania and MAN bus models for vBus. End of off-topic.

Just open texture file and make a repaint. It can`t be more easy.
