[Download] Busstop Display

Hi guys!

I've added the Busstop Display on these stops:

Stadtgrenze
Reimerweg
Pillnitzerweg
Galenstr.
Rathaus Spandau
U Altstadt Spandau
Siegener Str.
Freudstr.

I thought i could share this "mod" If you want to call it that with you others that haven't been exploring the Editor.

I will be adding more Displays on stops its room to put it later, but the ones over is the ones that got now.

NOTE: If you have made changes in the editor yourself, take backup of the \Omsi\maps\Berlin-Spandau_89.

DOWNLOAD HERE

Put these files in \Omsi\maps\Berlin-Spandau_89.

bloody fantastic i knew was some talented people out there thank you for the share .....i can see this is going to be a friggin amazing simulator more then already is,the mods already coming out are brilliant they got this sim right on the monie! well done M&R

Not so realistic. You'd rarely get these displays at rural or suburban bus stops, just at the main interchanges, city stops, or terminuses.

PS..... what is the plural of the word 'terminus' ?

I just have a quick question - were these bus stop display signs present in Berlin during the 1990s (on every bus stop or just main stops)? They look awesome.

Just out of interest, what be the best/safest way of uninstalling this mod?

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the displays, but I wanted to change the references to the '92' service to M37 instead and seem unable to do this on the displays.

Was therefore just wondering of it's possible to remove the displays, or would I need to unistall/reinstall OMSI?

Good to hear! Hope you get you'r problem fixed!

I done it! I managed to change the display boards at the bus stops, so that all of the 92 routes now display as M37.

All that needs to be done is to go to; OMSI/maps/Berlin-Spandau_89/TTData/

....then open up each of the .ttp files that begin with '92' (there are 8 of them), in Notepad.

....under the [Trip] section at the top, simply change 92 to M37.

Do not access or change the 92.ttl file.

....and that's it, all 92 services will now be shown as M37 on the display boards.



Next mini-project is to change 'Stadtgrenze' to 'Hahneburg'

The object included in this "mod" is an existing, functioning object already included in omsi. It is just not used in the Berlin 89 map. The author of this download has kindly added this object to many stops in the Berlin 89 route. Therefore no special download is needed, just an update to the map.
