English Download Version

Earlier today when I was downloading Omsi from SimMart, I selected the installation to be in English, from there on end, everything concerning OMSI was in English as well. There were a few minor things which were in german though but those aforementioned document boxes are pretty self explanatory.

On my last bit it says Your order has been executed. Any one know what this means.

how did you get yours because I noticed you were having the same problem as me?

YAY! My download finally worked and OMSI is installing!!!!111!!!!!11!!!!!

You know whats annoying nearly everyone has It now and is happy but I have had no help of aerosoft even though I have bought it yesturday and after about 8 emails and posts on the eurosoft forum.

but there is no button to download from.

the download on aerosoft germany is no longer there either

OK, so I paid and downloaded from simMarket (PayPal, anyone asking)... the download is at 700kB - 1.5MB/sec from 1st German server - which is very good.
Now installing OMSI, I'll see, how it runs at reasonable settings.

And, at last...
Marcel, Ruediger... I'd give you a GIANT hug if I were around Spandau!

Settings keep changing, mirrors don't work. I'm sure M&R will address this in the future.

just set at advanced graphic options resolution of texture 512 or 1024

It seems you have to keep the texture at 256 or below. I tried 1024 and higher (can't remember if I tried 512), and each time the mirrors were black. Keep it low enough and it'll work

I spent the day living with about 15 fps trying to figure out why my monster machine was holding back. Turns out when selecting the "parade" mode where you have a dozen buses to select from rather than starting with an empty map and selecting a bus, it cut my frames in half I'm running smooth now, and I just got done driving a bit in the early morning, driving in and out of long shadows. AMAZING.

To me, OMSI was a good investment

* and / keys on the numberpad, but first you have to enable what I would call a holding brake, dunno if that's the German term though. Key for that is numpad -

i cant get passangers to come on the bus ! i set the route and blinder's etc and when i pull up to the stop they dont get on :S
