Don't. It's the older that is the fictional one for this bus; as it is an older ecomat in general, the one that doesn't have the "cat whine" sounds to it, it was installed on the original O405, not the O405N2 IIRC. Maybe I'll make a 5-speed version of the newer one, if you want to be that particular about it I don't mind the extra gear, you hardly ever reach it anyway.

If you should make the engine again and again, then it would be nice if you would make it a little louder, because I think for a bus to be quiet. Would be great.

In spite of all the tweaks and mods, I still think a general problem ist the heating system.
As you said Jay, I copied the script.files from the SD202 folder, but this had no effect.

Thanks for the last update, it's getting better and better. But you should change a few things. If someone pressed the stopbutton and they'll get out at the middle door, the stoplight won't turn off. And something different, if you open the middle door it also activates the light in the cabin, should be better if it does'nt.

And last but not least, I tried to play around with the 'old' gearbox but it seems to me that nothing changes. I want the bus to shift up a bit earlier, but if I change the values for that, nothing changes. If I change a value for 'kickdown up' for example, it will work fine. I'm working in' the antrieb_constfile_D88.txt file.

Where is little wheel for choosing speed of fan for heating ?

I've been playing this bus for some hours now.

Thinks I noticed:

-Heating problem. The button works, the sound of the heating is being heard, but the bus doesn't warm up. People are freezing.
-At a bus stop, people walk first to the third door at the back of the bus? Only when I open the front they walk towards it.

Also ich finde den Bus auch sehr gut gelungen. Mich stört allerdings das der Fahrplan nicht wechselt wenn man sein Umlauf beendet hat. Zwar wird der der nächste Umlauf aktiviert nur bleibt der alte Fahrplan hängen, um dann den aktuellen Fahrplan zu sehen mus ich Fahrplan abbrechen und neu annehmen. Die Front und Heckscheibe haben keine window color somit halt keine Spiegelung da. Ansonsten macht der Bus richtig laune.

The O405 is quiet. At least compared to the MAN SL/SD's, it's almost silent, really Those MAN's are some very loud buses. I made the sounds to reflect that difference, it is quieter than the SD's in OMSI about the same as the O405's are from the SL's in real life in my experience.

Everything is different in the old gearbox. The torque converter is shorter, first gear is longer, there are 5 gears instead of 6 and the whine sounds are not there. Also, there are coughs and hiccups to that box, it sometimes stalls the engine when you stop. There is, however, no kickdown implemented in the script.

I know of both problems; they are issues with the original model. I'm trying to find a solution. I tried rearranging the door priorities for this, but it didn't work well with the paths, and the passengers kept walking back and forth. I'll try it again for the next update, but it will be a while before I make it - I have a lot of work right now. You'd have to make due with it the way it is for the moment, unless you find a solution and save me the hassle

Der Weiße ist noch lange nichte weise, nur weil seine Farbe hell ist. Und die normale Art und Weise kann sowohl hell als auch dunkel aussehen.

Aber Schluss jetzt mit dem Deutschunterricht...

ich bin durch einen Link zu diesem schönem Bus geraten, aber nun verstehe ich nicht, wie ich den installieren soll.
-Es wird ja nur eine Datei gegeben.
Kann mir jemand eine Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitung (in Deutsch) geben, damit ich auch in den Fahrgenuss kommen darf?

p.s: Ich habe nur/schon die Grundversion, ein "verpixeltes" Armaturenbrett hatte.

recht einfach, das archiv entpacken und den ordner "mercedes_new" in den omsi order einfügen (.../omsi/vehicles) hof dateien dazu und fertig...

Ich lade hier entweder die falsche Datei runter, oder bin zu blöd, denn ich habe irgendeine Datei, die sich "Mercedes_New_2.1" nennt.-Und das wars.
Normalerweise müsste das ja ein Ordner sein.

Das gleiche Problem habe ich auch. Wenn ich auf Download klicke dann kommt da immer eine Datei die Mercedes_New_2.1.man heißt.

Die Datei heißt Mercedes_New_2.1.rar und ist eine gepackte rar Datei. Zum Entpacken braucht ihr Winrar dann habt ihr die Ordner die ihr braucht.

1. Brauch man Winrar
2.Bennene die Datei in .rar um ( also das man weg und .rar)

Danke erst mal für die Antwort.-Nun hat es teilweise funktioniert.
Das Problem ist, dass die Datei "D92_3" beschädigt, oder fehlerhaft sei (laut Fehlermeldung beim Verschieben/Kopieren). Die Datei habe ich beim D92 gesucht, und manuell kopiert, aber der Bus wird trotzdem ohne Farben, also weiß (alles, auch Sitze, Armaturenbrett, usw.) angezeigt.-wie Häuser, oder KI, der noch beim laden ist.
Was kann ich nun tun?

Was mir an dem Fahrzeug ja nun wirklich auf die Nerven geht ist, daß die Fahrgäste an den Haltestellen zuerst immer zur dritten Tür laufen, und wenn ich diese dann gnädigerweise öffne, auch noch auf Zufall warten darf ob jemand eine Fahrkarte kaufen möchte. Ich schaffe es echt nicht ohne Verspätung anzukommen.
Mache ich nur die erste Tür auf muß ich jedesmal warten bis sie von der dritten zur ersten Tür kommen
Beim Ausstieg auch nervig: Eher per Zufall bemerkte ich, daß doch tatsächlich auch Fahrgäste vorne aussteigen.

Ist es schon irgendjemandem gelungen dieses Ein- und Ausstiegschaos halbwegs zu normalisieren ?
