Scunthorpe Map V3 Progress...Updated 13/11/2011

LATEST NEWS (Updated 09.09.2011)

Scunthorpe V3.0 has been under production for almost 2 months now, and I thought it was about time I posted some updates on how things are going. The screenshots below show some of the new areas to the map, which will contain a total of 14 routes, from 8 minutes to an hour long.


A busy Scunthorpe Bus Station, on a foggy Autumn Morning


Stagecoach Lincolnshire service 31 pauses at 'The Open Hearth' pub, on its way into town...


The busy 'Berkeley' Roundabout, Features on routes 31, 31A, 32, 32A and 37...


Stagecoach D92 trundles along Hilton Avenue, with a Route 37 service into town...


The Queensway, meets Grange Lane North, in Ashby - Service 32 can be seen in the distance, on its way to 'Riddings'...


A rainy November afternoon in Ashby. The first bus, on Route 12, is followed by a Route 31 service...


Burringham Road, Looking towards Dryden Road, As service 31 passes on its way to Riddings...


And finally, the 31A & 32A prepare to leave, for the last bus of the day...

The first post has now been updated with the progress of the map...

i'm up for BETA testing. drop me a link and i will test ASAP but i've been experiencing Internet problems so i have not been able to do stuff correctly but if you drop me a link i will try and get everything done for Tuesday

I have been a beta tester in other games but not in OMSI ^^

I now OMSI very well and I can play 4-5 hours each day

Thank you for your offers for BETA testing. A couple of you will have recieved a private message from me. (If you have not, please dont take it personally, as I only required 2 extra testers). Work on the map is progressing very well, with only around 5-6 hours of work needed to complete the map, so I am hopeful that the testing will start in a couple of days, followed by release a few days later.

Evening,

The first post has now been fully updated, with more details of the routes, and new screenshots. This evening I have completed all the scenery, which leaves just the Lighting, timetables, and testing, plus supporting documentation to go before release. Unfortunately, I am unable to make 'Roll blind textures' to go with the map, so if anybody is interested in making these, please let me know by private message.

BETA testing is starting TODAY got the link downloaded and shall keep updating with Pictures

No pictures but i am in the process of sorting a error with the map so i can properly test it -_- stupid track error -_-

Amazing Progress made managed to sort out the error by deleting A LOT of tracks and re doing them

i am Yes, BUT, bad news, come across another problem. which is a problem which will need a whole section rebuilding so it can be fixed. (i think) but at this moment of time i am trying to find the source of the problem

i did get it solved. BUT, its a building which will need replacing, so it may postpone the release by a few hours, hoping to have all MY BETA testing done today, and have all the information needed to the Developer within 24/hr and maybe you'll get a video

can't promise though xD

noticed that the Building 'denton hotel' is infact a problem .sco file as it has a invisible barrier in. Developer will be notified of this, and he should replace it soon expect a report off him around 1:00 PM (BST)
