Object placement problem in editor.

Hello all, I'm having this slight problem with placing objects in the editor on maps, (rather hard to explain but here goes) for some reason when I create new object it is nowhere near the mouse pointer which makes it very hard to get objects in the correct place. Has anyone got any idea on how to solve this?
