Thema: DIN Font (normal & narrow) Fr 27 Mai - 22:38
My first addon! I made two new DIN fonts for OMSI, e.g. for german road signs: DIN narrow and DIN normal width!
It can be downloaded and installed via the OMSI Addon Manager, but you can also download it here: DOWNLOAD
-------------------
Mein erstes eigenes Addon!

Its kind of funny to see a developer release an addon as its usually $0.99 DLC or its included in an update

It has been mentioned several times, Marcel and Rüdiger are busy with University, and don't have time to make new add-ons and updates for OMSI. Maybe when they finish, they'll make some more. As you can see, all over the forum, many members have completed new bus models, but they are on hold because they don't have an slightest idea how to import. Very few members have succeeded in importing and even releasing. But noone wants to say or write a tutorial on how to do that. When M&R release the vehicle SDK, you will see the difference in the forum. There will be new buses popping out non-stop! Mark my word. You have seen how fast the maps built up when M&R released a SDK and a tutorial on how to do new roads, intersections etc.
Best Regards

Did I ask you for explanation? I didn't. I exactly know what's going on but it is very disappointing when you've bought the game with many possibilities to improve but there's nothing to go ahead. I'm sure if there is some competitive product, M&R Studio (becuse they named it like this) will want to show something more. But now, they don't have to. Even the SDK, why it's not out yet? Come on it's half a year now. Moreover, It could be prepared much earlier in my opinion. Then users could focus on improving this game if M&R have to finish studying.
I think, form time to time, they could give some news for us. Just to let us know there's something to wait for. But there's nothing I guess.
There's very much to correct on this project and they know it very well. I've never met any new product what is so bugged and very crash-able like this one ;/. I usually pay such price for the games with much, much better performance and support. You didn't have any chance to test it first. You just had to buy it if you want to play ;/
I'm sorry for my off-topic. But I require some specific news for now. I appreciate users work, but you know, it's not the way it should go, is it? I'm sure everybody thinks same but nobody speaks about. Six months = dinfont Unbelieveable.
I'd consider this purchase again if I knew how it looks now and I would probably use uTorrent .
Regards.

This problem comes, when the font resolution in the sco-files is not a 2n number like "32x32", "64x64", "128x128", "256x256", etc. Some computers can't work with any number else. But I think Busdriver1997 has updated his motorway signs where he has edited the resolutions for most of the signs.
