I downloaded the these skins and notice that it looks like it'll overwrite the default skins of the buses with the new stuff you've made, if I am correct, is it possible to change this or am I incorrect and it doesn't alter the default buses?

My skins will not overwrite the default skins.

The only files that will be overwritten are model_D92.cfg and model_SD85.cfg.

I have updated these files with additional [CTCTexture] entries to allow the repainting of the interiors and wheels. This will not affect the default skins or models.

You are doing great work on these repaints, well done!

As a Sheffield lad i am over the moon to be seeing these releases and look forward to the mainline sets being released, have to admit it's like waiting for paint to dry (pun highly intended) but i would rather they be up to the standard of your work then be rushed and besides i have waited 20+ years for something like Omsi i can wait a little longer !
