NEW BERLIN-SPANDAU MAP --> Available !

Hello drivers

I'd like to say the new map of Berlin-Spandau project is gonna be finished in near future.
You can ask - why do you edit such good map and dont create your own?
The answer is simple - I just love big cities to drive with multiple and diffrent routes !
And the second reason is I do not have much time to create as great map as Berlin is from scratch.
I just love this map and it's really hard to say how many times I was travelling 92 line.

Firstly, I've been working on this map for myself, my brother and friends who bought this great game after me in short time when I showed them it
But why should't I share it with you?

Ok - back to the main matter !


What can you find?
* Many regular lines with diffrent timetables & routes as well as express and night lines (13, 13N, 31, 34, 54, 56, 63, 92, 94, 97, 100 - for now),
* New (real & fictional) destination points (e.g Zoologisher Garten, Waldkrankenhaus, Olympiastadion, Heestr. Gymnasium, Maxim.-Kolbe Str. and more),
* Full working IBIS system as well as rollband textures for new places with new linelist inside buses,
* No 92E anymore:
- for morning services it's replaced by 31 (between Reimerweg and S Bahnhof Galenstr. via Baluschekweg and new Alternstr.)
- for afternoon services it's replaced by 5 (between U Bahnhof Rathaus Spandau and Freudstr. via Zeppelinstr. and new area called Platze),
* And some other things I forget to say now


Because of the real size of Berlin, some created terminuses use real names but they are placed in not real distances/areas.
I've used them to keep the climat in game



For now, there are some things which I'm currently working on, e.g:
- balance timetables (weekends, holidays, rush hours, etc.),
- set up route helpers to make them as clear as possible,
- add another night lines (they're already planned --> 5N, 97N, 34N <-- but not created yet),
- add regular line --> 91 <-- between Reimerweg and Waldkrankenhaus.


To make you a bit hungry fot this map, my brother and me prepared some gameplays of new lines.
As we make another ones, I'll add it to this topic until the map is completely finished

I really enjoyed your '54' route video, and you really nailed the Waldkrankenhaus extension - a zillion times better than my humble effort! You obviously know Spandau pretty well.

may i ask, something which confuddled me with the original map and now this.

92E. you run multiple services say reimerweg to u rathaus in the morning. so when it gets to 5pm in the evening, why dont they do the same express back? its like a school service operating in the morning, but then not bothering in the afternoon...abondoning the kids lol! just a wonderment as to how they worked it out>?

Morning services of 92E are replaced by 31 line, but 31 is "full-day" service. Same situation with line 5.
There's no 92E anymore because with this what I got now, it's pointless.

Every line goes in diffrent areas, at least in most part of route and that makes them useful

This map is fictional so it doesn't matter
But anyway, I kept a piece of original routes to make it more real (e.g 5, 13, 31, 35, 63 and so on)

Have you kept the Berlin Wall / Checkpoint areas in place, or have you removed them?

Even though they are fictitious routes, I can't wait for this one, and I think it will add a lot of interest to the Spandau Map.

Stadtgrenze terminus exisits in this map
New Hahneberg area is a small village (if I can name it in this way) next to Reimerweg terminus as you can see in video about 13 line.

Heerstr Gymnasium is after Stadtgrenze. Instead of turning left to Stadtgrenze loop, take a right and go straight. It's terminus for 94 and 97 lines.
It's not really Heerstrasse but I think it can be named like this cuz it's not too far from.

Hello again !

I'd like to inform you this map is almost ready to release.
I just still keep testing it to eliminate as much possible bugs and errors as I can find.
All work is doing well so I'm happy about the final result


I've decided to release this map on Easter Sunday (kinda gift for ya ).
David's Spandau Modern Map V11 comes out on this friday, so I want to wait a bit to have us enjoying his great project because it's worth of it.

If you're interested, I can make a video of new night 97N line between Heerstr E Gatower Str. and Zoologischer Garten.
Just lemme know.
