Hallo, I want to ask how many polygons for vehicle are optimal for OMSI? Or does anybody know how many polygons have original Mans?

Do big textures also make the game slow? I currently use a view textures of 2048 x 2048 and some more of 1024 x 1024 but if I resize them the quality will go down if I am right.

I've heard somewhere that the more separate textures inside one file the better it is for FPS-count, and thus for quality. So I assume that OMSI doesn't really care about the size of a texture file unless it's really big (4096x4096 and bigger...?).

Basically it's no big deal but older graphic cards have problems with textures larger than 2048. So you should stick to this. Btw, the original MAN buses only have a few 1024 and some 512 textures.

I know the original MAN buses use smaller textures that`s why I was afraid that bigger textures would slow the game down. I don`t think OMSI can be run with older graphic cards because it already needs very good hardware the way it is now, and I will not make them bigger than 2048 x 2048 so I leave it the way it is now. But once my model is converted to OMSI and I notice bad perfomance I will change them. Thanks for the information.
