Overhauled road textures (W.I.P)

Hi all

I tried to make something for Omsi and since the editor was a **** for me I just turned to skins and textures. Now busskins etc dont really interess me so I thougt why not trying to imrpove road textures.


I started off with the buslines ( they are not thick and small enoguh for me) I wanted them to look more realistic. And I succeeded in changing them into more realistic ones. The same for the road texture itself.


I will release my work soon, but I m still checking it all to release a complete pack.


Anyway the lines this is what I mean with it:

I m still checking if I can make a 'BUS' notation on the road like in the picture too. I hope I find it out. More game screens will folow soon, depends on the succes of this project.

EDIT: Some screens of the new LED traffic lights (also for the pedestrians lights)... (dont mind the letters n the road I am still expirimentating...) Some pics of the roadlines will folow soon.

Gonna give the asphalt and concrete a new texture too this week if I have the time :p
I'm shiort on time this week with school to release and perfectionis( I dont like to release half work)

These look great - remind me of the great Orbx textures in Flight Sim.

Look forward to getting these into OMSI!

For not making any mistakes, the better bloom texture is not mine, I downloaded it as graphics mod from the german part.

The only changes I bring in are new roadtextures and roadmarks and new traffics lights etc...

No just zip, I dont know how to make an .exe I will check if my brother knows he can program.

Anyway I m not sure to release this all since there is someone else who has also released a texture pack.

He didn't answer me when I asked him to work together

I prefer zips over exes, since i want to see the content being extracted to my OMSI dir anyway, so when i get an exe i have to install it to a temporary directory anyway.
