I'm in the process of localizing Omsi for Dutch buses. But in Holland we have a different system in the way bus tickets are used. In the 80s and 90s there were two types of tickets. The first type is ticket sale on the bus (not much different from the ticket use in Omsi right now), but the other type is a (national) pre-paid bus ticket containing 15 or 45 zones. A good explaining can be found here:

kind of offtopic:
I already have a modeller that is in the works of creating a Den Oudsten/DAF MB-200 (pictures:
http://do-eerbetoon.itgo.com/mb.html) and DAF MBG205 (Articulated bus of MB-200). I've already translated most of language files, but it still needs some refinements. We also have modelled and scripted the typical Dutch 'negenoog' traffic light (http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Negenoog_%28verkeerslicht%29).
The best thing of all, we re-introducing the Dutch guilder (who needs the Euro anyway..)
