Sorry to beat the developers to posting this but it made an interesting read. I wonder what they mean by improved passengers 'consumed' - Maybe the trouble at Am Bogen and the stop before Freudstr. Not sure if anyone's had this but you got to be careful pulling off from that stop 'Am Bogen' as the passengers get off and commit suicide by walking under the bus, its not my system other than that its fine! But its just that stop and the one before Freudstr, the one before freudstr the passengers get off and disappear!
Roll on

No, in version 1.00 the passengers were "consumed" in such a way that they could only ride the bus once. So after one or two tours, there were no people left at the stops. This has been fixed.

ah ok, so the disappearance of passengers waiting at the stops bug has been fixed!!
Besides that, what are the only changes made to Patch 1.01?
@Jun, I have noticed that bug as well, the passengers walks right towards the bus and the sim claimed that I hit them over 5 km/h. Oh well I guess suicidal passengers.

The patch will adress the following issues:
*Some graphical glitches solved (wrong traffic lights, missing poles, etc) * Some functional changes: - people crossing the whole street at Stadtrandstraße - yielding of AI cars at Schmidt-Knobelsdorf-Str. improved * Passengers won't disappear after several runs * Timetables can be terminated while on service run back to the depot * Lost devices (black screen effect) will be repaired in-game * improved interpretation of keyboard and gamecontroller inputs which might have been responsible sor some sort of crashes * error while closing OMSI (which often lead to a corrupt options file) removed * keyboard layout can be resetted * auto-config option for gamecontroller * alternative view control (if you have no middle mouse button/wheel): Right button = pan, right button + Shift = zoom * optional self-centering steering wheel when using keyboard controls * collisions between AI cars can be turned off to reduce "chain reactions" at low performance ("earthquake effect) * pedestrian collisions can be turned off * gamecontroller buttons now support real "continuous fire" and are thus suitable for timetable view and gas/brake * maybe a minuscule performance gain due to some code optimizations.

That sounds like a reason to reinstall

Not really...I haven't spotted any improvements on my system. And with the patch being a normal update, you won't need to reinstall.

I uninstalled it because I couldn't even get 30 fps.
I still hope that there's one tiny little thing that might help anyway so I'll give it a shot

Hopefully, this patch will help me use my brake and pedal properly, since they are not like the PC exclusives/Logitech GT

That is quite normal, even with a decent PC. No reason to uninstall!

Uh, in this case, I think most of us should uninstall
@ Amy Rose: If the pedals are normal joystick axes or sliders, it will work. But even if they are only buttons, it will work anyway: With the patch it will be possible to put the gas/brake function on a button, too.

In my situation, I max out the gas and the pedal in the bus moves about less than 1cm and you can barely notice the gas or brake pressed, which makes the bus not move, since not enough force is put onto the pedals, and if i put on any more force, the pedals will break

Try "degressive" mode for the pedals in the controller settings in OMSI.

It is a ps2/pc wheel and pedals, so it must be done in the buttons section, and not the axis, I already did axis, and it did bull. Also, sorry to hijack this thread

You need to release the bus stop brake with the "-" Key! if it is not that then your controls are really screwed up also make sure that the parking brake is released as well.

All we need is a Right Hand Drive modification, and perhaps some new vehicles to drive(Merc O405 hint hint!!!)

Busstop brakes released, Parking brakes released, on 2nd gear, and nothing happens, but the first update will possibly fix my problem

Make sure the rear doors are closed, and also make sure that there is enough air pressure as low air means the breaks wont release, even if the bus is in gear with the parking break and bus stop break off.

The red needle was somewhat out of site, and the reardoors start closed.

Yeah, I wish there was a right hand drive mode. My country utilises a right hand driving mode and left hand mode is kind of hard to get used to.

Don't forget that, fixing other bugs/errors can give better performance too.

@ krtz01
yes suicidal passengers for sure! But these updates sound like they'll iron out the matters at hand totally. I've seen some patches over the last few years that don't do anything to help performance even on a top end machine like mine, the black screen effect, well i can't bargain gameplay on Vista even if this is fixed, so sticking with XP until i can afford to build a smaller test computer.
And to Marcel / Rudiger - thanks for hearing our cries
