My first screenie from Omsi that has been published anywhere



Tester screenie of SD81 1771.
I have used the RGB colouring from the number set to get the right colour for the destination set. The font is roughly the same as the NewJohnston from TfL.

Nice Screen there mate what do you mean by Tester though? as in a map tester or just testing?

Testing the effect of the NewJohnston font on Omsi blind displays.

The numbers are from a source on here I believe with slight differences:
I have added an 'A' to the third track for use on suffixed services.
I have removed the 'triangle' from the blinds and substituted it with blanks.

The map I'm using in that screenie is Newcastle Pro and the place is Eldon Square. I have a full range of destinations for Newcastle Pro.

I would like to do the same for other maps and if anyone has any requests for me to do so, you can either message me within this topic or send me a PM.
Workload is not so heavy as I have only one request so far and that was from my wife to start a route .

Yeah, will release it soon, it was a bit of a half-arsed attempt as I haven't done the sides or logos yet

evo how did you do your matrix m8, i wanted a personal 1 like Alexander Dennis Ltd or ENVIRO 500, please can you tell me how i could do it please m8

I used the font 'Electronic Highway Sign' and then overlayed the original black outline of the dots in a separate layer in photoshop. Then, I put them in the Hanover folder in the Omsi/Vehicles directory, added the correct .bmp name in the HOF file and then set up the blinds as normal using the ALT menu in OMSI.

After a few days it's become apparent that it needs higher capacity buses, so I tried out a double deck on the route using the spare bus:

Can someone teach me how to do the matrix sign for the front of the enviro pls as im lost lol, thanks guys

It's exactly the same as the rollbands on the SD200 buses...
