Achieve better graphics/frames without much changes?

Hey all OMSI is decent on my laptop computer but I want it slightly better than what it is.I think before when I changed some sliders next thing I know I had jumping buses and re-installed and since then its been good.But any and every map/route I get 25-30 frames in the F4 or and F3 View.Once I get in the drivers seat I get 15-20.And when I get going moving I get a lag every few minutes its chunky then smooths out then chunky every few mins.I wanted to know what can I change to get 25-30FPS in the drivers view.

Laptops aren't made for gaming.. you should try out the minimum graphic setting and then proceed, 2006, 2007, ...

Then you will find a fitting graphics option for your PC!

I own Dell Inspiron Laptop

intel core i3 2.13Ghz Quadcore
4.00GB DDR3 RAM Kingston (2x2GB)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD5450 1GB screencard DX11

I can run it well at PC of year 2009, reasonable 15-25fps in Bad Kinzau (15 during peak,its rare,especially if system processes background tasks)

Thats a lie, game boosters gives me 5-7 more frames, Wich in Omsi is a big difference

Yes but you still have the "stuttering graphics"... That's beacuse OMSI uses one core...

Is there a way to appoint 2 cores into OMSI,just like using AffinityMask?

I tried Gamebooster and it's AWESOME!!! It defragmented over 1,000 OMSI files and I get 5-10 frames more which is great and I defragmented another game I have and I get x more frames jumped from 30 to 90 so its very good!

I have this:

Intel Core i7-2600K CPU, 3,40GHz. My computer has 7 of them, although if OMSI only is using one of them, it works great anyway. I experience no lag at all, so this processor is highly recommended!!

i7 processors does not mean 7 cores. In fact, this particular processor only has 4 cores. However, this process is a 2nd generation i7 process and it's the latest line of processors.

I am very aware of that i7 is just a name, the fact is that my computer has 7 of them installed.

30 to 90 WHAT THE HECK?!?! JEEZ you joking? I am very cheerful when I meet 30fps at normal traffic,Gamebooster effects mine +3-5fps, plus when I defragged the OMSI folder it only found 20!!!

There is a setting which is like 'show only low res textures in distance' - change that. I find that with it on there is a pause every now and then while it changes from low-res to high-res textures as objects get closer. But in general if you want better FPS then just drive in dry daylight with light traffic.

I am not joking! I also am a Trainzer have Trainz 2010 and I get about 60-65 FPS from an average of 30.
Defrag games
do cleaning and defragment your system!
