Giving Change on advance ticketing help

Hello all,

Bought this sim last week and have not been able to stop playing it!!

I have done a lot of runs on easy ticketing and now I want to try advance mode. I have tried it on the training map and whilst I can get the tickets right, I can't work out the change. Can anyone please explain the cash slots from left to right? I don't know the DM currency. One point I was supposed to give 5.00 change, so I got out the 3 big coins with a big 5 on it, and took 2 back, and he said I gave too much change..and then took the 5 coin and was happy with a 'tip'. What exactly did I give him?

I couldn't fathom out any of the change and either gave too much or too little, so any help in explaining it would be much appreciated

There are numbers above every cash slot, you can zoom in by moving your mouse while holding the right mouse button. I can`t check it right now but I am sure that the bottom row starts with the 2 coin from left with the 1 coin right next to it. The 30 cents coin is the second or the third one from the right at the buttom row. Those are the only coins you need unless you want to give less coins (sometimes the passenger will complain if you give too much coins lol).

Right... simple. Depends what bus... if your using the D92 you'll have a 5 a 2 a 1 a 50 and a 10 (i think) in that order...

Was having a go on the Newcastle map with the ticketing on easy and tried the bottom row, didn't know it worked and got solo coins out of it. Will give it a try on the training map soon and see how I get on with the coins, thank you for the replies
