A little help about my new PC

Hello there,

I've just ordered a new PC for my house, as my laptop I'm running right now is about 4 years old. Shocked

But yes, I was wondering if anyone could tell me which settings will be best for a PC of this spec:

Processor: Intel Core i5 processor 650 3.2GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core
Graphics card: Intel

G43 Express Chipset with 512MB of RAM
RAM: 3GB

The processor and RAM I think is fine, it's the Graphics card I'm concerned about.

Do you mean the settings especially for Omsi?

I would try around. Your specs are not the best, like mine, but I bet you will be able to run Omsi fluently with better graphics after using the old laptop.

I'm really in doubt how good it will run with the graphics card from Intel. 512 mb of RAM in the card is not a lot (I think mine has 1.5 - 2gb) and in general Intel cards are not for any games. But I hope the best for you, and the processor is very good! Smile

Also think that 3gb of RAM are probably the lowest you should go.. I struggled to keep up with mine 3gb on my old laptop, now I'm having 8gb and it runs much better.

Processor is nice but you don't have graphic card, you have integrated graphic card with i5 which is NOT good, so you may still struggle with OMSI even with this laptop.
Do you planning to buy one graphic card for laptop, it has plenty of good ones??

Well, It's a All in one PC, I was going to get a proper desktop, but my mother said no. Sad

To be honest, I've been able to run omsi with out lag (As long as I turn the mirrors off) on this laptop fine, and it's not really got the best graphics card in the world.

We will see how it goes.
