Does anyone know how to make a bus Semi Automatic?

How I can change a particular bus to be Semi Automatic?

so that I have to press 1,2,3,4,5, N, R etc on my keyboard to make it semi auto?

As I am replicating the traction of an Ailsa, I have the sounds done, I just need to get the bus to behave like one while pulling away.

now this seems a concept... but what you can do is make it fully manual as it'd most likely to be harder to make it semi than either Auto or manual

Just wait until I am done with the ZF ecomat/ecolife You are going to need to take a look at the manual transmission script though. Good look!

The ZF is a complicated transmission! And the Ecolife is even more complicated! in your case, Once the clutch function has been mapped out, the other stuff should be easier to do.

I wonder if theres a way to map a 5 speed transmission that would mean the engine sounds would play until you release the accelerator ( replicating a manual with an automatic clutch )

Someone made a basic 5 speed semi automatic; you could look at it and see if you can get it to behave a bit better, as it needs a bit of jiggling with Neutral and Drive buttons before you can press 1 to drive the damn thing! And then you need to reach a certain RPM to get to 2 (the author based it off of the Voith!). I didn't know Ailsas had that sort of transmission I only remember the Voith ones (OMSI's SD200s sound made me remember the Eastern Scottish/SMT/First Ailsas) I thought "hmm... where have I hear that loud and long whining sound in a bus before..!!)

I would love a Leyland Hydracyclic for an Altantean sound mod.

Looks good - you are one the best, if not THE best OMSI Engineer! Would I be allowed to beta test again? Also I can give you a sound cfg without the gear whining and axle sound.
