[Released]: English Voice Pack 1 (Males)

This is the first of a number of Voice Packs I will be releasing for OMSI, in English and Spanish.

These Voice Packs come with fully automated installers.

This is a Voice Pack in the English language, containing 4 full sets of male voices. It replaces the M1 - M4 German voices that come with OMSI.

When you install this voice pack, all male passenger voices in OMSI wil be in English.

Female voices will remain in German - until I release the female voice pack.

IMPORTANT: Before running the installer, it's very important to make a back up of the following folders:-

C:\Program Files\m-r-software\Omsi\TicketPacks\Berlin_1\M1
C:\Program Files\m-r-software\Omsi\TicketPacks\Berlin_1\M2
C:\Program Files\m-r-software\Omsi\TicketPacks\Berlin_1\M3
C:\Program Files\m-r-software\Omsi\TicketPacks\Berlin_1\M4

...if you fail to back these up, you will not be able to retrieve the default German male voices, when you wish to!

This English Voice pack contains male passengers with various British and international English accents.

I didn't want to make it all too humorous, as I know there are some 'serious' OMSI users out there, but there are a number of characters who get on the bus in this pack.

They're all recorded at home; myself and my brother's voices. I have a home studio set up, as I produce music, so we recorded the audio with a Digidesign audio interface (pro-tools) and a half-decent condensor mic.

Amazing, just like your last sound pack(the announcements for the updated Spandau map) I love it. The accent, the words used, this just makes me excited to see what will come next!

If anyone fancied recording any further sound files for the OMSI passengers, and sending them to me, I'd be happy to collate them into the next packs. Buuuut, they have to be of high quality !

Thanks for the feedback, we had a LOT of fun recording these (and even more hearing them for the first time in OMSI!).

My favourite is the Scouse (Liverpool) fella who says "aright, er, day rider please".... when you get him on your bus, don't give him enough change, as his reponse is funny

The first English Female Voice Pack is now only a couple of days away....... this and the English Male Voice pack available above will then give you 100% English voices, for use in maps where this is appropriate.

Unfortunately a slight delay of a few days to getting the female voice pack out, due to focussing of getting Spandau Modern V11 ready for release on Friday.

(Why oh why did I make the fatal mistake and promise a release timescale!).

VERY, VERY NICE!!!!!!

So even if only a minority in Berlin speaks English (ok, in the eightees there were even some more...?) it is a very nice Addon for all these people not speaking German!
