BeitragThema: 1. Repaint problem / 2. Texture on bus windows.   1. Repaint problem / 2. Texture on bus windows. Icon_minitimeSa 9 Apr - 13:01

Hello everyone!
I decided to write two of my problems in one topic.

First one:

The thing is that, when I'm trying to make a repaint ( let's say just whole black bus ) and then I'm using OMSI Repainttool and my problem starts ( see the screens below ):

So this is what I desire to get: 1. Repaint problem / 2. Texture on bus windows. Bezaty10

And look what happens after converting via Repainttool: 1. Repaint problem / 2. Texture on bus windows. 212

I also tried to fill it black myself by using paint, but it didn't work and omsi couldn't read my repaint properly.
Looks really ugly. Is there any way / program etc. to fix this and finally repaint the beige color around the window?

And now the second thing:
Can anyone explain me step by step how can I make a repaint with textures on windows ( I mean something kinda Cosy Wasch from developers ) . I've seen already some of them made by players, also tried to do it myself but no result so far. I would really appreciate a good tutiorial.

Thanks very much for further answers.
Take care.
Heir.

In German Thread https://omnibussimulator.forumieren.com/t2930-matrix-umrandung?highlight=matrix+umrandung s.o. mentioned the solution for this.
Mask "D88_01_MA.bmp" and "D88_01_MA_B.bmp" must be edited. Targetmatrix must be colored white in these files. Then convert Repaint again.

I've not tested this. So don't hit me if I was wrong. Neutral

But how am I able to add the "_MA" file while the Repainttool only searches for .rpc file and then the repaint. How do I combine them so OMSI can read both of them at the same time?

Since the problem is not solved and more people add new topics about repaint, I'm refreshing it and still need an answer.

The repaint tool layers several files other each other to create a new skin.

That's what I know. The question is what should I do before Repainttool will paint my bus beige around the window?
I've seen someone said about masking something. I did it but how can I make OMSI to read them both?
I mean I have _MA file + my repaint .dds file and now what?

Somehow I figured it out myself and now everything works just fine:).
I didn't know that _MA file which I edited has to be in Repaint folder and cannot be moved.
When I edited _MA and left it in it's original place repaint stopped to color my matrix beige:)
For example when you wanna do D88 repaint so you go to Repaints/SD202/Templates/D88_01_MA - edit it via Paint: cover all matrixes white and save it BUT DON'T MOVE THE _MA FILE ANYWHERE!! It has to stay in Templates so Repainttool can read what you have edited.
