AI buses on different routes

When adding AI buses to the route, will it be possible for buses to join from off the map, i.e. from a road which is not belonging to the existing route? What would happen to a bus on a different route which turned left or right and headed off the map? Must it u-turn, or can it disappear and reappear elsewhere?

I am thinking of modelling one route, but having buses appear from other routes for part of the journey. I obviously only want to model the part of the map relevant to one route though.

Sorry to bump this question again. What happens to buses or AI traffic that turns onto a road that goes off the map? Do they drive in thin air, do they disappear and reappear elsewhere, or do they simply disappear altogether? Many thanks...

They will appear/disappear. So it is possible to include lines only partially.
