Do you mean when you put your foot on the throttle? the smoke from the exhaust ?

If it's anything like my early starts where the first driver in started up all the busses inside the garage.. I am surprised health and safety didn't shut them down... tons of exhaust fumes, streaming eyes, sore throats on that early shift!!

You can change it in the menu in graphic options under the particle system ( thats what it says in the manual)

So i got my max particles per emitter at 1100 wich is pretty decent,

Also if you want to see smoke in the mirrors, make sure No P.S. in Reflexions is unticked

Smoke smoke smoke that exhaust!
to be more realistic, the exhaust color must change.
because right now the color of the smoke is blue-white, means it runs on petrol. BUT! THIS IS A DIESEL BUS, THAT RUNS ON DIESEL.means smoke must be thick and black! isn't it?
To be even more realistic, smoke should appear on hard accelerations and and low RPM's. it looks like that buses in omsi have failed that technical annual test and should be all banned due to heavy pollution.

Actually blue white smoke usually means the bus is burning oil, not running on petrol.
Diesels smoke when they pull off usually because to much fuel is being sent into the pistons and so its overfuelling,
hence the black smoke being unburnt fuel.
However i do agree it would be nice to have more heavier black smoke because the old SD200's Look like they should smoke
If there anything like the MCW metrobuses we had until last year, they used to smoke REALLY heavy when pulling away....
