I believe this is the first North American map to be released for OMSI publicly, although I'm not sure if there are any bugs, but I did put some testing time into it
Here is the map!
This is my first map and I bothered in reading the sdk manual today. Here is the first Image at Yonge-Davisville-Chaplin (Yonge Street is the road with grassy median) This is a realistic fictive map, since I won't be able to make it all accurate.

This is a very short route possibly, and it would be good for constructive criticism so I can Improve, and even pull some big projects with the aide of google maps. This is based on my home city Toronto, but since I can't model, I will be using generic berlin buildings to fill the road layout.
EDIT: I am finished making the road layout. buildings will come soon!

The terminal is on the right with a view of the major arterial on the centre

Doesn't it look like suburbia? Well, I'm going to urbanise this intersection too

Now the terminus is fully signalled!

Here is the map of the bus route

The nearly finished terminus gets trees and a local neighbourhood behind the *skyscrapers*

possibly the last intersection to be signalled. Now to add some buildings

A beautiful view from west of the terminus. This route runs through a peaceful residential area close to the hustle and bustle of Downtown Toronto!

Here is the street south of Davisville Avenue

Ironic how this bus route goes through such a rich neighbourhood, but there are some eco-friendly sub-millionaires that takes the transit system instead of a Ford

This is getting really exciting as all I need to do soon is add the bus stops and make the timetabe

Well, here is the first intersection that is in the renovation.

This is the street south of Davisville which is not Mount Pleasant road

End of the road. What am I going to do with Bayview Avenue south? that, you will find out later on

This is somewhere near the Subway Terminus. Thats right! This is the first route that doesn't terminate at Davisville station! talk about exciting new areas to explore!

The Final terminus is added! Yonge street is extended and there are bus stops on that street to ensure compatability when I start making a bus route along that street. That route won't be done until all the east end routes are done.

Thanks, and its a small part of the real city. I might extend this map some more after release!
Also, look for a new video within the next 5 hours from the time I post (got to import and upload since fraps divided the video into parts)

Thanks! I think once I reach Davisville 2.0 it is when it becomes somewhere between the lines of Toronto 1.0 or TTC 1.0, seeing as its inappropriate to name the entire TTC Davisville

Excellent work! We need some Orion Vs or Hybrid NGs for these routes.

Orion V is easy, since its a box bus, VII NG, not so much because of the curved front. I am no modeller, but I will learn to model during the summer

Yeah, I agree, the Orion V would be much easier. It will also be very interesting to see how someone manages to tackle the sounds of the Hybrid Orions. From what I've seen on youtube videos though, the NYC and Toronto Hybrid next generations sound exactly the same.

theres also another problem, custom transmission which would be a pain if you don't know how the buses shift and exactly when

Today, I am removing dead ends south of davisville, as I am aiming for almost total accessibility for buses to go everywhere and have a feel for this quiet residential neighbourhood

I have finished opening the bottom part of Davisville to the public. Detail comes last

Sorry to bother, but some of the traffic lights are not working.



This is the second traffic light controlled crossing counting from the Steeles Loop terminus.
As you can see the traffics are going through the crossings while the light of my side is green and I could only go when the light is red.
Last time I saw the light is green and I drove through, "bang", all my ratings were gone.

There are a few more crossing works like this, altogether 2 on the route of 11 as I remember.

All of this problems are fixed in 1.3 and will be released some time later.

This may be too much to ask I appreciate your work but can you create a very tight schedule something like a 3min interval for 1 tour.

Route 11 is on a 1 hour schedule unless you want it to be 50-55 minutes

Whatever is best for you I just love operating the S11 the 1hr 20min route.But I get lost when I don't see any buses.(not lost lonley.
