Thanks for the comments. I'll do an update next week as I was working without the English SDK instructions, so couldn't figure how to do a few things. The logo needs cleaning up too. Next, perhaps a SD200 (85?) in the old blue and creme West Mids PTE colours.

How do you change the colour of the BVG logo on the side of the bus. I want to make it blue instead of beige.

There are certain places on the _BS file which are masked when you repaint, and will always be beige unless you also edit the _MA (Mask) bmp file and rpc file. Such as the BVG logo, bus numbers and around the destination windows.

Open the _MA file with your paint program. White areas are places which your repaint will have priority. Black areas are places where the default texture will have priority. Edit the _MA file by changing black sections to white, where ever you need your repainted texture to take effect.

To get the beige to disappear around the destination blind windows, I just made the black mask areas a bit smaller.

Save your new _MA mask bmp file under a new filename.

Now open the rpc file with notepad.

Eg. D92

Zitat :

templates\D92_01_BS.bmp
templates\D92_01_AL.bmp
templates\D88_01_MA.bmp
templates\D92_01_AD.bmp
templates\D92_01_MU.bmp

Change the filename in the rpc file D88_01_MA.bmp to the filename of your new mask.

Rename and save the rpc file.

Now when you re-run the repaint tool, choose your edited rpc and any beige areas you've removed from the mask will be covered in your own paint job.

If you need to remove the BVG logo completely, edit it out in the _MU and _AD files, and do the same as above.

BTW I updated the reskin today to rid of the BVG logo, Karte/Kasse sign, and increased the red area at the front.

Excellent, just move the red stripe to the RIGHT of the front wheel well, (it isn't covered in real life) and then it will be bang on.
