OMSI Single Deck Buses?

Hi Marcel/Rudiger,

I noticed from the screenshots on the OMSI website and in the game that there are single deck buses sitting in the depot. Will these ever be released as driveable vehicles in the future?

The static models are only very lowpoly ones. That means, we'd have to build them from scratch anyway if we wanted to make them really drivable. We haven't yet decided which bus we'll model next.

It will be good to see MAN SL200 or SL202 , or some uberlands buss like MAN SU240

I'm hoping that a Mercedes-Benz O 305/O 305 G can be modelled next, or anything with a ZF transmission.

I would love to see another MAN bus that is apart of the fleet in Berlin.

Or maybe a MAN ND202:






Either one would fit perfectly!

The ND202 isn't that hard as it looks to convert drom D86-D92 models It's actually so similar.

Oh... I actually have a good idea for you, guys. Since Berlin did get some non-German buses once... an Ikarus 280.02!

Ikarus would be supercool. Or Solaris Urbino Anyway, I'd like to see single-deck and modern bus next

It will be developers', or fellow users, will to create the bus they want to create themselves.
I will try and play around with 3ds Max, maybe I'll come up with something. In the meantime, I say it's useless to ask for buses.

It is a North American bus. Thats what I really want for OMSI.

It's a shame you wont finish the Mercedes O405 from the first demo video, it would be nice to see that in game!

Yes, I think cmcn121 is right, O405 are great busses (MAN too but Mercedes are better, sound better) and if it has ZF-gearbox it would be amazing on OMSI... I will never get tired of doing kilometers and kilometers with it.

OK... Here's my idea.

If we create a map, let's make sure there's always a bus that fits the map's environment... I don't feel like driving a Berlin SD202 in the middle of Brooklyn, NY, for example.

Or vice versa. If we create a bus, there's always someone to make a map, isn't there?

But for now... we don't need a New Flyer in Klosterstraße, do we?
So let's stop the oh's and ah's about new buses that don't fit in Germany.

Old response, but stop hogging, since we need some diversification, not this European exclusives, since there are going to be North American routes in the near future, not the official M&R business, but it will happen
