I set the line as 09200, the route as 2 and then the ziel as 001, passengers refuse to get on, unless it is because I have to wait 22 mins for the first stop?

Don't set the destination to 001. When you enter the route, the correct destination display will be set automatically. You only enter the destination manually when there's no route matching your destination. So normally only: LINIE/KURS: 9200 ROUTE: 1 or 2.
Then the front and side displays show the correct destination so passengers know which bus you are and will get aboard.

Which bus do you using? Only the newer buses (SD82 - D92, without SD83 Rollsign) switch automatically their display matrix. The older ones have to set manually with the seperate overhead controller!

Right I will try it now with the bus at the bottom of the list. Route spandau-freudstr. I will then set the route 2 as line as 09200. It should work. I will let you know if it doesnt

The F3 key changes to external view. You use a laptop, right? I don't know if there is some application or special setting that allows you to "simulate" the third middle button of the mouse in your touchpad. I think it's more practical to use an external mouse.
