Just a very minor discussion thing

Hello there, well as i have been saying for the past two or three years since I have been on the site, the sim has potential. Now yesterday I have finally downloaded this simulator. I am amazed at the detailed put into the sim, it feels just like driving a bus in real life. The scenery is wonderful! absolutely astounded at the detail!

I do have one question though, when I select gear 1 on the transmission gear pad, it appears it will lock in the 1st gear but after a while it shifts up to gear 2, is that normal for the operation of the voith transmission?

When in mode "1", the gearbox will change to 2nd gear if you start braking with the retarder. So it MIGHT happen that if you activate the retarder at a very high speed (40 km/h in 1st gear), the gearbox stays in 2nd gear for the speed is still above the maximum downshift speed from 2nd to 1st (about 35 km/h). We never tried what the real gearbox does under these circumstances, so it's some guessing there.
