Ever driven a real bus?

Ever driven a bus before?

I have mainly cause i have a PSV licence

First time I drove a bus was in 2007. In 2008 I drove a Gelenkbus Volvo B10MA! My dream come true!

u drove a metrobus, u lucky ************

A few times... It's part of the application process for our local city transit system, the driver's aptitude test.... Passed the tests, never did get hired...

A few years on the buses, then some long distance coach driving around the UK. Driving buses is fine... just a shame we have to pick up passengers!

I've driven a bus once, not that long ago, my dad is a busdriver and he managed to let me drive an hour on the practicing area of the busdepot, with a Vanhool A300, something I will never forget

My first time was when i was 12 my dad works on a local company in Porto, Portugal where i live called STCP but when he starts to work to this companie he only could drive volvos b58 and b59 and the cheaf of that station was a friend of mine so when it was need to go get a bus and i was there he give me the keys to go get the bus

Never driven a real bus in my life I got to wait a good long time until I can legally drive one and it makes me feel bad that even when some members of this forums were kids that could drive buses (like in a depot) but I guess times changes.

Yeah driving a bus is good, but you will get fed up with it very quickly lol

You are still driving in lothian buses ?
Am in edinburgh only... I have been travelling in these buses....
Is there any particular bus you always drive ?
I will be creating a map based on route 25 or you u can say which route is best..because I have not gone in all routes....

Yes I am still driving for Lothian Buses at the moment.I am based at Central Garage on the Double Deck rota, so any of the routes from there i.e 8,10,11,14,16,27,31 etc.

I am making the 5 and 51 from the past, but I am not sure about the Bonaly route of the 5 back then.

Almost had a chance to drive one of these when I was younger while my dad was a driver... Man I'd do anything to have had the chance to drive this one. From the pictures shown, the buses were scrapped, but man do I miss them. Favorite bus of all times.

Hopefully I'll be able to advance my skills in 3dmax to build this one. Ill have to find that video that shows complete sound of it too... Just amazing.

I've driven Ikarus EAG E91 and Volvo 8700 (high floor). Still got a bit over four years left before I can do it legally

Yes. I drove MCW Metrobuses, Leyland Olympians, Leyland Titans, AEC Routemasters and DAF DB250's.

Uuuh, I did drive a truck once, but not a bus unfortunately...

I did when I was little. We had a terminus very close and as my Mum didn't drive, so we went by bus very often and I had contact to several bus drivers, asking them questions about buses and all that. And sometimes in my holidays I spent time with them, so two of them let me drive on the grounds of an old factory or - only once - on a public road, as I grew up in a small village. I still remember, it was a champagne-coloured O305 with orange stripes. My mother still has pics of me on the driver's seat. Fond memories, really!!!!
