Habe ich irgendwas verpaßt? Die Arbeit an der Map ist eingestellt. Es wird - so sehr ich das auch bedaure - nichts mehr an der Stadtbusnetz-Map geändert.

Zur Erklärung:

Roland hat an der Map weitergebaut, erlitt dann aber bei recht weitem Baustatus einen Dateiverlust. Da zu viel verloren gegangen ist und ihm wahrscheinlich dann auch ein Stück weit die Motivation gefehlt hat, hat er das Projekt eingestellt und Rheinhausen angefangen (die ich übrigens weitaus besser finde. Very Happy)

Und Anschlussfahrten sind in Omsi nicht möglich.

Hallo Zusammen,

ich habe eben die Map Stadtbusnetz ausprobiert.
Erstmal super Map,
aber wenn ich gefahren bin kam immer die Meldung das ich eine Person angefahren habe obwohl ich auf der STraße war und keine einzige Person zusehen war.
Und am Ende hatte ich 60 Unfälle mit Menschen weiß einer von euch was das sein könnte

Ist ein bekanntes Problem, Ursache unbekannt, deshalb gibt es auch keine Problemlösung!

Ich habe das problem beim Laden, dass folgendes Fehlt:

str_2spur_6m_Radeland1.sli
RQ_10,5_2spur_7,5m_Sidewalk_BridgeA.sli

RQ_10,5_2spur_7,5m_Sidewalk_BridgeA.sli gehört zu SimpleStreets, jedoch habe ich diese Datei nirgendswo gefunden o:

This is certainly a very good map!

I tried to find a solution for the problem with the crashes into the not existed (or in case not visible) pedestrians. Until now i did not succeed. I replaced some tiles, repaired the wrong connected tracks on line 13. What i learn 'till now is that there's something wrong with the collision.mesh of this map. When you bump into a house or something it's not supposed to go dancing around or sink into the ground. On this map that happens, i have some vids of that.

But, there's a solution for this all. Turn of your pedestrian collision and the problem don't occur.

I encoutered this problem only on line 10. Maybe someone else has spot them on other places on the map?

But without doubt this is a very good map and it will be a waiste when this one went into oblivion because of this problem. So i'll keep trying to unravel this mystery!

It could be that, also what about the simple streets, i recently re-installed the simple streets latest version properly i will try it and see what happens. It is a great map i love it, but the stuttering on Line 10 and 13 is a bit off putting, but still a great piece of work

The funny things is that on the places were it stutters there's no simplestreet in sight! On my Xtreme maps i don't have this problem with SimpleStreets and the one on this map are the very same.

But you can increase the performance from this map by increasing the max sound count to around 700. An other option is, as Marpe mentioned above, to get rid of the loose debris (crossings and splines) that are floating on the map.

Today day i made a little video on this map and it worked out fine, so it is possible.

I just tried re-installing it, it's still asking for the nemolus objects when i have all of them there, so Im guessing those loose splines, i wouldn't know where to look though or remove anything, i've just about got my head around creating tracks and trips.

The problem comes with exchanging the missing splines and objects on top of what you already have.

Come to think of it, thats too much trouble just to play a map, i mean the creator really should be the one to do do that, specially seeing as moving around the editor is a bit of a job in itself. Im just lazy, if it was my work i would be double checking. In anyway, i think the young chap who created this map is working on a new version to this.

Take it the way you want, when your're not familiar with the editor it's better to wait for an update. \but if you want give it a try... you know what to do.

Map making is not that easy and Omsi can act really strange so now and then. I think every map builder is doing his best to deliver a smooth working drive experience. There are different ways to achieve that. Some do that by the way of avoiding all exotic scenery and splines. David Rogers is a good example of that method and all his maps are an example of smooth running. I prefer to use everything that is available to get more variety, test it firmly, packed it all in an installer and hope for the best. When you make a map one thing is for sure: not everybody will like it and and it will not work on every system. That's the risk you have to take.

The maker of Stadbusnetz has done a great job, but left some loose ends but i'm sure he'll clean this up later!

Sorry Mr. Drive, I am the creator of this map but I will not develop or create an update. Another guy try to extend the map, I allow that. But I made some mistakes with the Stadtbusnetz-Map and erase some datas of the expansion, so I cut this project and start a new one with "Rheinhausen", which you can download too.

The errors are mainly an OMSI-Problem. Some guys had not and someone has problems. The reasons for the failures are the different downloads, which has any user on his PC and change the configuration of OMSI. I had install only two other contents (SimpleStreets + Nemulus) which you need for the map, but different people has different problems.

The easiest way to create a map is to avoid external content.

Hi Roland,

That's a pity, because it's a great map.

Mistakes.... yes i made a awful lot on my first release of Spandau Xtreme!! When you're a map creator you learn from you're mistakes. So don't be ashamed of making mistakes, it's part of the proces.

About external content: it is a factor of uncertainty. For my maps i made a complete installer with all add-ons aboard. That makes a pretty big file but the good thing is that the installer overwrites every file with the same name... without choice. I use the clickteam installer and i can strongly advise that.

I've download Rheinhuasen but had no chance to drive on it yet, i'll will soon.

Although their may be mistakes on Stadbusnetz, i once again will compliment you with this map, it's really fun to drive on. Now i know you will not make any updates i'll try to adjust it for myself so it runs smooth.
