During the beta test, creating a new ZIP with the script file was the "official" way, but this led to problems if the file extensions are not displayed in Windows. Thus I created the "AMS Builder"... which simply packs everything into a ZIP

Currently I'm working on a semi-automatic gearbox for this great bus. My wheel only has a simple up/down gear lever and using both a wheel and keyboard for shifting is very uncomfortable. But I love the bus.
However the dual language antrieb osc files are a real challenge to understand. One of the main problems I have is that OMSI doesn't have support for keyboard/joystick bindings per bus. Older buses have other needs to 'modern' buses. The FDW needs a button to open the third (back) door. So I'm trying to reuse the automatic gearbox R, N and D settings to create the semi-automatic gearbox.

The schema is very simple. 'N' remains neutral. Down (R) puts it in reverse. Up (D) puts it back in neutral. Up (D) again and it goes into first gear. I have the gearbox working up to the second gear. When you're in second gear and try to shift down (R) you go back to gear 1, N and finally reverse. I hope to have a working 5-gear semi-automatic gearbox next week, but it still needs a lot of tinkering at the moment..

Hey All Brilliant Bus By the way. But one problem i face. Is I Cant Select MAN Catagory in Buse's Section. Soon as i do i get the error violation that was talked about few pages back i have downloaded the supposed fix for this but and checked the Karosa.bus And its Corrected what could be causing the problem Its confusing Me Ive tried removing any addon buse's but The MAN Catagory Dont work ? Any suggestions.

ich hab ein Problem, also der Bus springt manchmal in die Luft bei Stillstand und beim Fahren.
Das passiert aber nur beim Karosa und nicht bei den Andern.
Kann mir jemand helfen?

Hast du ihn schonmal neu Installiert
Das würde ich mal ausprobieren und sonst kann ich dir auch nicht helfen

Is it possible to shift via wheel. I mean, that I shift from gear one to gear two by using the gear shift and not buttons.

Ich habe mir soeben nochmal erneut den Karosa heruntergeladen, aber ich kann ihn nach wie vor nicht fahren. Jedes mal wenn ich ihn auswähle, kommt eine Fehlermeldung mit Zugriffsverletzung seitens OMSI. Kann mir bitte jemand helfen?

Ich kann dir nicht helfen, habe selbst ein Problem:Irgendein Fahrgast legt das Geld hin ohne dass ich es sehen kann.
Kommt ein anderer Fahrgast und bleibt stehen weil es anscheinend noch belegt war(er wollte eine Fahrkarte kaufen).
Selbst wenn ich Betriebsfahrt Schildere geht er nicht weg.

Bitte um Hilfe für mein Problem(und das von lucas1992).

Mach einfach automatischen Fahrscheinverkauf an in den Optionen

Die Addonbusse sind einfach noch nicht ganz Fahrscheinverkaufstauglich.

Ich habe ihn per Addon-Manager installiert. Das funktioniert bei mir problemlos.

Schalte in PAX-Sicht [F2] vorne rechts, dann drehe die Kamera zur Geldausgabe, dann kannst Du es auch wieder wegräumen. Und vergiss' beim Fahren nicht mit [TAB] die Kupplung zu treten

@Emil: In der PAX Sicht ist NICHTS zu sehen. Und ich fahre OHNE Kupplung, meine, dass es so geht.

Love the gears with my logitech g27, we need more busses, coach with gears make the game great

Just one thing, to changed gear your have to rev very hi, can you lower the revs in furture version, example: To go into 2nd gear i have to do over 20mph/kph
to go into 3rd i have to be doing at least 40 lol

Need to lower the revs, so we can changed gear a bit eailer

love to hear any other quotes on the gears

When is start the engine and put it in the gear, the bus don't move forward or backward. What are i'm doing wrong?

So really, the bus simply copy from the CBS that I can, because I looked up and there was exactly the same inside!

I agreed in some hills is really annoying because sometimes i need to go at 40kph because if i put the 3rd gear it fails in put the gear or i lose lots of speed then i need to put 2nd again or even 1st and then can't put 2nd

It is not copy from CBS.
It is convert from VirtualBus.

Could you please release a zip or rar file of this bus? It seems that it is not only me that is having problems installing it using the Addon Manager and it would be nice to have a traditional zip file if it's not too much trouble!!

You can open the AMS-file with a normal ZIP-program.
