Police sound

I saw in Sounds > AI Cars folder that there is a police siren... when will you see police responding?

When you call them?

Background noise?

Police doesnt actually show up when you click the blue light in the menu.. it just skips the minutes it takes to clear the scene. And i havent heard it as background sound, so thats why im wondering.

This sound is currently not in use!

Aha Will it be used in a update? If so, is it for background sound or will the police cars actually respond around the district?

Maybe there should be ANOTHER option in the Settings (I say because there are few options right now )

"Police wait: Real time / Instant"

When choosing "real time", the player just waits there for the police to come. Then the siren could be heard (and if you feel like developing it, a police car incoming and stoping).

And if you choose "instant" just behaves as it does now.

On my first ever drive, I smashed up a passing car and the Police arrived, arrested mt for fleeing the scene, and I could have sworn the sirens were going!

I'm sure it was!

IF we will use this sound, it will be an police car sound (you can see, we have some police cars yet! ). But we haven't planned using it yet. It was just a test, many years ago... (around 3... )
