Work with files

Is script language able to read/write from/to *.txt files? When I would make my own bus with diferent IBIS and I would want to saving count and total price of saled tickets to txt files. Would it be possible?

OMSI doesn't use *.txt files, it uses another extension (e.g. *.cfg, *.bus etc.), but you can edit all relevant files with Notepad.

EDIT: Sorry, that's not completely correct... if course these are textfiles, they've just another extension. So yes, basically your right
